He advises all five top banks in Botswana, major parastatals, blue-chip corporations, and foreign investors entering Botswana.
Mr. Sharma is a Board Member of Justinian Lawyers (representing Africa across 135 countries), a Member of the AEA International Lawyers Network, and a Member of the International Bar Association (Member No. 1100697). He is a Member of the Botswana Institute of Arbitrators since 2002, where he has served as Mediator in key alternative dispute resolution matters. He is a regular contributor to World Bank "Doing Business in Botswana" surveys (2015–2020) and the World Justice Project Rule of Law Index (2016–2020).
In 2019, Mr. Sharma was appointed Honorary Consul General to the Republic of Indonesia in Botswana by the President, and has been involved in diplomatic missions across Botswana, Asia, and Europe. He has been ranked by Legal 500 as a Leading Attorney for a number of consecutive years. He is also an admitted Conveyancer since 1998, with particular expertise in sectional title schemes, gated communities, and large-scale property developments.
